Organic Food Stories @ http://www.organicfood-benefits.com/
Only several years ago, consumers were very restricted in the choice of organic produce they could buy - A minimul range was marketed in small businesses, although its appeal was limited at the time. Throughout the past few years, increased coverage on GM foods has flipped peoples views on organic food. Now the bigger markets are catching on.
The worry is, as it becomes more popular, so will farmers crossing the line between commercial and organic. A variety of certification badges exist, but there is no real proof.
Consumers sure can taste a difference though - everytime a report goes around interviewing, a flock of organic followers advocate its bonus’s and benefits.
The industry is now a multi-billion dollar booming market worldwide - and there’s plenty of crop scams out there balancing on the line between organic and commercial.
With the increased incentive of money for these farmers throughout the world to cash in on the organic food trend, more monitoring and certification methods must be implemented to ensure consistency.
